As a special agent, Peter seemed like any ordinary joe. You wouldn't know by looking at him that that he spoke four languages, and had training in intelligence gathering, weapons, and as a high speed stunt driver. If there were any problem on the road, he was as good as anyone at driving to maneuver and get away in any weather condition. Those kind of chases can result in very high speeds, so the trailer tires needed to have the high speed ratings.



So he picked up the load at the specified pickup point. He had no idea what it was, but he noticed the guys loading up wore special protective white suits, which made him a little nervous. Normally, he never cared. He wouldn't even think twice about it. But today, this one day, something was getting under his skin. For some reason he was feeling nervous and suspicious. He knew that some of his work in the past had been on the fringes of the law, but orders were orders and he always followed them to the word.



He was driving a route that had been given to him. The route was 150 miles on a little driven road that was rather straight and flat. He had been on the road about 15 minutes and the trailer was tracking perfectly, when he noticed a black car following closely behind. He slowed down, but he noticed the car slowed down too. Then he sped up and noticed the car stayed right on his tail. He called in to his handler and asked about the car. His handler was alarmed. Both helicopters that were supposed to be following overhead had encountered strange mechanical problems, and had needed to turn around. Now he had a tail following him. He slowed down and turned onto a winding mountain road. The car turned with him. Peter floored the engine and it took off with the car staying on his tail. The road became treacherous, and the trailer tended to make his car jack-knife, but he kept it under control. Peter watched in his rear view mirror as suddenly the car behind him careened off the road and down the steep mountain side. Peter turned around and resumed the planned route.

Peter's heavy duty trailer tires turned out to be a good idea. He arrived safely and delivered the cargo, never asking for a description. Now, he would vacation for the next six months until his next assignment.
